Blackaller
Devon, England
About the project
Created by shepherd Peter Hunt, Blackaller (formally Dartmoor Wool) is a farming enterprise looking to reinstate the use and value of wool as a sustainable fibre – sourcing wool from Peter’s flock of rare breed Jacob and Shetland sheep which graze on the eastern edge of Dartmoor National Park.
Peter works with local artisans, produces honey from his bees, sells lamb meat, and is developing his offer of bee and lamb experiences for visitors to the region. Peter’s produce also featured in our regenerative fibre exhibition in London in May earlier this year.
